{"tool":"get_job","result":{"requisitionId":"3985-6516","client":"SMC","title":"Regional Trainer I","description":"PURPOSE<br><br>Assists the National Training Manager in the implementation of nationally accepted training programs, complete with outcomes, curriculum, support materials, reference materials, pre-tests, post-tests, software, and hardware. Also assists in the creation of Multi-media training material that can be accessed remotely throughout the corporation.<br><br><b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES</b><br><br>&bull; Works to improve the Organizational Development of SMC. Including working with different parts of the organization to make sure that they are becoming more effective and efficient. Building consensus.<br><br>&bull; Make sure that the training presented in whatever channel matches the goals and priorities of the business.<br><br>&bull; Works to present all established SMC Technical, Health & Safety, Policy, Leadership & Business training classes<br><br>&bull; Assists salespeople with technical questions and issues.<br><br>&bull; Presents established SMC training classes to SMC employees, distributors, and customers<br><br>&bull; Exhibits good teaching technique and practices<br><br>&bull; Maintains Training Department Equipment<br><br>&bull; Functions well in peer-to-peer communications<br><br>&bull; Integrates the technical/product/sales domains and communicates at the required level for students' understanding<br><br>&bull; Communicates training information to other SMC groups as necessary.<br><br>&bull; Provides reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as requested by management.<br><br>&bull; Travels as directed or required to SMC locations, distributor or customer sites.<br><br>&bull; Assists Technical Trainer II and National Training Manager in development and promotion of national training programs to meet the needs of the business<br><br>&bull; Delivers custom training upon request from sales, distribution, or customers with the direction of management.<br><br>&bull; Communicates all training completed to the Training Coordinator for tracking purposes.<br><br>&bull; Demonstrates technical skills and abilities in math, fluid power, English, physics, and the like.<br><br>&bull; Has sufficient expertise to satisfactorily explain the requisite terms and concepts within those domains.<br><br>Participates in course development, planning, and training activities as required to support the goals of the National Training Department<br><br><b>PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT</b><br><br>&bull; Sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time.<br><br>&bull; Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time<br><br>&bull; Frequent physical demand of moving and transporting training equipment up to (70) lbs. in weight.<br><br>&bull; Exposure to the following elements: noise, heat, cold, and dust<br><br>&bull; Periodic travel to other SMC, distributor and customer facilities as necessary<br><br>Fast-paced Office Environment<br><br><b>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</b><br><br>&bull; Servant Leader<br><br>&bull; Bachelor's degree OR 10 years equivalent manufacturing experience will be considered. Degree/Experience in engineering, technology, or related field preferred.<br><br>&bull; Three years of experience as SMC technical employee or closely related equivalent experience.<br><br>&bull; Three years of experience with SMC products and technology, or closely related industry experience<br><br>&bull; Proven ability to provide SMC product training and pneumatic technology training.<br><br>&bull; Three years of training/education/presentation experience.
