{"tool":"get_job","result":{"requisitionId":"4160-6512","client":"SMC","title":"Supervisor Logistics","description":"PURPOSE<br><br>The Logistics Supervisor position supports the efforts of the Logistics Manager to meet SMC stated goals concerning on time delivery, quality, expenses.  Ensure a management presence on the floor through hands on supervision of all activities that take place within the distribution facility.<br><br><b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES</b><br><br>&bull; Ensure work load is evenly distributed throughout the assigned area in a manner to ensure customer delivery requirements and quality objectives are met<br><br>&bull; Assist other groups within the distribution facility by shifting resources to meet customer demand<br><br>&bull; Ensure proper execution of all transactions that affect delivery and inventory accuracy<br><br>&bull; Completion of all customer inquiries concerning open orders<br><br>&bull; Audit 10% of all transactions concerning delivery and physical inventory for accuracy and timely completion<br><br>&bull; Audit assigned area for inventory accuracy at the location level to ensure goals set by management are met or exceeded<br><br>&bull; Ensuring KPI's for area are being met and if below targets, take action to correct issues<br><br>&bull; Suggest and implement process changes based on statistics and root cause analysis with management approval<br><br>&bull; Physical maintenance of the area to 5S standards and management requirements<br><br>&bull; Keep area stocked with appropriate supplies to perform daily processes<br><br>&bull; Compliance to ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards within the area<br><br>&bull; Perform HR related duties (hire, schedule, counsel, document performance, payroll)<br><br>&bull; Inform employees of management decisions and initiatives. Provide the appropriate support tools to achieve desired results<br><br>&bull; Ongoing classroom and on the job training of all employees (product and process)<br><br>&bull; Daily, Monthly tracking and reporting of direct and indirect labor efforts of all personnel<br><br>&bull; Daily communication with all employees<br><br>&bull; All other duties as assigned<br><br><b>PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT</b><br><br>&bull; Physical demands require the person to regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.<br><br>&bull; The work environment will expose employee to the following elements: Noise, Heat, Cold, Dust, Oil, and Grease (70% of work hours).<br><br>The work environment is an office/professional environment (30% of work hours<br><br><b>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</b><br><br>&bull; Preferred Associate or Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience<br><br>&bull; 3-5 years work experience in management or warehouse environment<br><br>&bull; Ability to communicate effectively with team members and managers<br><br>&bull; Must be able to utilize the ERP, WMS, WES and other software as required to perform duties as listed above<br><br>&bull; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)<br><br>&bull; Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language<br><br>Must be able to be certified to drive equipment required in warehouse<br><br><p style=\"opacity: 0.0;\">For internal use only: Logistics001</p><br><b>Req id:</b> 4160","department":"Logistics & Warehouse Operations","departmentId":"68ae15cb9f66fa003420c7b4","employmentType":[{"value":"Full Time"}],"datePosted":"2026-01-13T00:00:00.000Z","applyUrl":"https://careers.smcusa.com/apply","attributes":["Supply Chain"],"recruiterAssigned":[""],"address":[{"city":"Noblesville","state":"Indiana","country":"USA","zipCode":46060,"address1":"","location":{"type":"Point","coordinates":["",""]}}],"city":"Noblesville","state":"Indiana","zipCode":"46060","country":"USA","salaryMin":null,"salaryMax":null,"salRateType":null,"brandId":412027,"createdAt":"2026-01-13T00:00:00.000Z","updatedAt":"2026-05-13T16:00:02.358Z"},"summary":"Job details for Supervisor Logistics"}
