{"tool":"get_job","result":{"requisitionId":"4481-6878","client":"SMC","title":"Manager District Operations","description":"PURPOSE<br><br>The District Operations Manager (DOM) is responsible for ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of all U.S. sales branches.<br><br>Working closely with the National Sales Manager (NSM) and their focus on driving sales and expanding market share, the DOM's<br><br>primary focus is optimizing operational processes, managing resources, and maintaining infrastructure across the sales organization.<br><br>This role oversees the execution of corporate strategies, ensures compliance with company policies, and upholds the highest<br><br>standards of operational excellence and profitability across all U.S. locations.<br><br><b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES</b><br><br>&bull; Own full responsibility for the Profit & Loss (P&L) of all Districts, ensuring profitability goals are met.<br><br>&bull; Oversee U.S. sales operations, including cost controls, asset management, and leasing requirements to maximize profitability and performance.<br><br>&bull; Collaborate with National Sales Managers (NSMs) to align budgets, sales strategies, and corporate goals.<br><br>&bull; Develop, monitor, and enforce KPIs across all sales roles, generating performance reports for leadership.<br><br>&bull; Provide direction to the District Operations Managers (DOMs) to ensure operational readiness and efficiency across all locations.<br><br>&bull; Ensure adherence to corporate policies and operational standards, conducting audits and branch reviews.<br><br>&bull; Develop an overall recruitment plan to effectively maintain an appropriate headcount requirement for meeting sales goals.<br><br>&bull; Ensure that an effective development plan is in place to prepare individuals for future leadership / advanced roles.<br><br>&bull; Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer experience.<br><br>&bull; Serve as the operational counterpart to NSMs, focusing on execution and operational support for customer needs.<br><br>&bull; Act as an escalation point for customer issues related to operations or logistics, ensuring timely resolutions.<br><br>&bull; Assist in customer relationship management, ensuring operational excellence to enhance satisfaction.<br><br>&bull; Coordinate with internal departments to ensure aligned support and efficient branch operations with agreed upon SLAs.<br><br>&bull; Establish and maintain a standard operating procedure for all sales responsibilities.<br><br>&bull; Lead training efforts on CRM, ERP, and other tools to support team development.<br><br>&bull; Monitor CRM, GPS, and management dashboard data to ensure sales efficiency and compliance with operational standards.<br><br>&bull; Establish a standard of consistency for the sales office environment, including standardized equipment, resources, and training capabilities.<br><br>&bull; Oversee distributor training to enhance market penetration and product understanding among business partners.<br><br>&bull; Support the execution of product promotion initiatives, market campaigns, and open house events.<br><br><b>PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT</b><br><br>&bull; Ability to maintain a posture in a seated position within a typical office environment for extended periods.<br><br>&bull; Frequent travel requirements (between 40% to 50%), including at least one week per month to the North American Headquarters.<br><br>&bull; Work in a dynamic, fast-paced office environment.<br><br>&bull; Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to supporting the needs of the business.<br><br><b>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</b><br><br>&bull; Ability to effectively manage and execute all responsibilities while based within the assigned territory.<br><br>&bull; Bachelor's degree in business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.<br><br>&bull; Advanced degree in Business, Operations, or a related field is preferred.<br><br>&bull; Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations.<br><br>&bull; Minimum of 5 years of management experience.<br><br>&bull; Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.<br><br>&bull; A \\\"get things done\\\" and \\\"do more with less\\\" attitude, with a relentless focus on efficiency and results.<br><br>&bull; Strong analytical abilities to aid with problem-solving and leadership decision abilities.<br><br>&bull; Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and maintain control over operational and budgetary processes and policies.<br><br>&bull; Familiarity with SMC products, procedures, and sales strategies is preferred.<br><br>&bull; Proficient in CRM systems and core operational applications, with the ability to quickly adapt to systems as needed.<br><br>&bull;
